Matte Black Cylinder Pull on Plate
A British made, Victorian style, matte black cylinder pull on a plate.
Part of the “Constable” range of Victorian ironmongery, this is the BRA 611-58 Victorian Cylinder Pull on Plate. A Victorian style of plate, incorporating a cylinder pull, which works in conjunction with a rim cylinder and nightlatch (often referred to as “Yale locks”).
Traditionally cast in the highest quality brass and available in a massive range of finishes with each one individually finished by hand, this cylinder pull will add real, understated style to any vintage front door.
Matte black bronze is a very dark, off-black finish; dark finishes like this work particularly well on light coloured front doors, contrasting the door furniture with the woodwork.
Matte black bronze is very similar to oil rubbed bronze, but these items don’t have the red/copper edge of the oil rubbed bronze.
